Has it really been that long?!!

Time certainly flies when school and life are in full swing! I can't believe how long it has been since my last post.
With Thanksgiving break quickly, and thankfully, approaching I stop to think how much has happened in these last few months. The hot days of summer have ended and I am currently enjoying some of the fall colors on the other side of my window.
I was truly blessed this morning by visiting North River. The last time I was there was last year and the attendance has drastically increased. Sabbath school was insightful and church was a blessing as well. Jon Tillay spoke on finishing the race that God has set for us. It was a great reminder with everything going on at this time.
It was great seeing everyone! Oh, how I've missed fellowship and friends!
Thank you to everyone who made today such a rejuvenating experience. And thank God for His blessings! Enjoy the fall brilliance and have a great Thanksgiving break!!!

An Update

I can't believe just how long it has been since I updated this. There is no way to write down everything that has happened. So, I will just give a brief description of most of the things I've been up to. First, let me fill you in on my internship at Hatch Show Print in Nashville. What an amazing experience. The people were great, the work was tons of fun, and the knowledge I gained is invaluable! Those of you who are reading this and don't know what I did at Hatch, allow me to give you an idea: Hatch is known for prints, not just any prints, but mainly posters. These posters are created entirely by hand. I learned how to use a letterpress. I set type, mixed my inks, and hand-cranked the press! It was so much fun to see how they use to print everything before computers took over the industry. There are several posters I designed that have been added to my portfolio. :) After my internship I took the next two weeks and headed home. Yes, I drove all 21 hours...straight through.... well, with the exception of a half hour nap. No, I won't be driving a length like that again without stopping for the night. lol It was so wonderful being home. A span of about two to three months had accord since my last visit with my family. It was a nice reunion. I got to help around the house and with the gardens. Back on Southern's campus I am already into my last year here. It's going to be hard, but I can do it by the grace of God. The last great development in my life (that I would have mentioned first if I had put these things in order of importance) is that I am dating! His name is Jere and he is the most wonderful man I have ever met. I believe that God has blessed us both with this relationship. :) I will write more when I have the chance. God bless!!

Reflections...

Happy Sabbath everyone!
The last two weeks have been filled with travel and adventure. God is working in my life and showing me that even the worst of times seem to work out.
As some of you know my older sister graduated last weekend from LLU. Because of that I have traveled across country twice in the past ten days. Two days of driving and two days of flying....it's amazing how quickly time flies with so much travel. The three days I managed to have at home were very nice. The rest of the time was with family in Loma Linda. I haven't been out there to see the family since before I started college. It was nice seeing everyone and catching up on what's happening.
God gave me a lot of time for thinking during all the travel and I had needed that time. It is so important to truly take time to just think and talk to God. It relieves my soul and clears my head. This last semester of school was a challenge because I took to much upon myself. God helped me through it anyway and blessed my efforts. What a wonderful God He is! I hope that you are all well and rejoicing in the Lord today. God bless. :)

It’s done! I have now entered the world of blogs. Now the only issue is finding subjects to write on that my friends would actually care to read about.
As most of you already know and the rest will soon learn, I am not a writer. But this is an attempt to keep in touch.
I will try to expound on something far more interesting in my next post. God bless.
